What a Beautiful Weekend!!!

Greetings friends and family!

Another week has passed, another weekend...but was it ever gorgeous outside! Maybe we are getting a little reprieve from the lack of fall that we had (what was up with that anyway?) But, we will take what we can get for this will not be around for long!

I think the girls got a little cabin fever with the cold weather as well. From the time they were born, they had a stroller ride in the neighborhood, along the shores of White Bear Lake, or some trail somewhere once, twice, if not three times a day. It was always a definite way to calm them down...and mommy, too. So even at 7 months old they are loving the warm weather...even if it means being bundled up a little bit. The pictures are from today. Maddy had a great time in the backyard watching Cooper scoot around with his ball (Abby was napping). That dog sure gets a belly laugh from those girls.

Mommy and Daddy got out a little without the girls this weekend as well. We hopped the Lightrail train to Minneapolis and took in the Hollidazzle Parade and dinner with our good friends Donna and Emefa. What a fun night! Maybe you saw us trying to get some camera time at the WCCO station in the 6pm news? That was fun to watch.

This week, Dave will bid Ford Motor Company farewell as his final day will be Thursday. It is bittersweet as he looks forward to a new chapter (he will be starting school this spring to be an electrician) but he has also made some friends there as well. We are glad the uncertainty is finished and we wish everyone from FMC well.

Well, the tree is up, the presents are wrapped and we now settle in for the night. Wishing you all a great week!
