Crazy, crazy Kids

The girls are getting to be such a hoot. They do things every day that just leave me and Dave in stitches.

Today, Madelyn has become best friends with a pair of pink sweatpants she pulled out of the dresser. She brings them out to me, and in her little voice, asks "Do?" (That means she wants them on) Not on her legs, but her head. She ran through the house and played and climbed with these pants on her head all morning. Don't you love how she is posing for the camera. She stood dead still and smiled when she saw the camera come out. She also has "please" down if she really wants something. Holds her little hands out, wiggles her fingers, and says "peez, peez" with ultimate desperation in her voice.

Little Abigail is just as funny. She is such a rough and tumble girl and has the funniest run. Kind of a high step...a really fast high step with a smile on her face and her cheeks bouncing. She knows the phrase "Get down" VERY well. A few weeks ago, we were at Grandma and Grandpa Mills' house and Abby kept climbing where she wasn't supposed to. After Grandpa Wayne telling her numerous times to get down, he gave her the stern "Abigail..." Well, Abby spun around and yelled right back at him "Geh dowwww." Now she will climb something and yell to us "Geh dow nowww."

How do you not laugh at that????

And why can't I get the italics turned off??? Sorry!
