Update!

Finally, the mommy posts some new pics for all the Abby and Maddy fans out there. I know you were getting restless, so here you go!

This is what Abby was doing instead of joining Maddy and Mommy for a lunch date (see recipe that follows...yum!)

Madelyn is going to be our clothes hound. She like to layer. And wear hats. And put anything on like a glove.

Why? Because Princess Maddy can wear a stocking hat when she plays her piano if she wants to!

The Peterson household has been a busy one the past couple weeks. Last Monday started it with a date night for the Mommy and Papa. Romance at the Wild game in section 113 (Troy, thank Jim for us!). It was the first night out together in AGES and what better than a good hockey game with some Davanni's pizza and a few drinks. Ahh, my prince.

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday were all work days for me, so Dave got lots of quality time with the girls.

THEN, on Wednesday, it happened. The Bon Jovi concert. Hollee and I were mommies on the loose in St. Paul. A yum dinner at McGovern's with a "few" margaritas, some rocking out to Daughtry and some even more rocking to Bon Jovi. I do believe that we may have frightened some the younger folk sitting near us as they seemed to have no concept of greatness of 1980's Bon Jovi. I saw it best stated in the St. Paul Pioneer Press- something to the effect that the mom-types were going as nuts for Jon Bon Jovi as their daughters did several weeks ago when Hannah Montana was in town. Thursday night when I got home from work, Madelyn burst into flames. She was hot. 104.1 degrees of hot. Poor thing was up and down all weekend and finally turned the heat off on Monday. This morning, Abby started. 103.3 degrees to be exact. That is why she was in bed during lunch. She came to me, took my hand in her hot little hand, led me to her crib, and put her arms up. The little stinker just crashed.

The other excitement around here is Dave bought into a home flippin' project. The house is about a mile up the road from us...a shabby farmhouse with access to the lake on almost a half acre. So far, they have hauled three 40-yard dumpsters of junk out of the house. Just junk. Boxes of junk. And mouse poo. GAG! It should be a fun project and we will keep you posted!
